But of all of the countries in the world, why is Spain so popular? Well, it doesn’t take so long to travel to Spain making it a relatively pain free journey for people who don’t like long journeys, and Spain is a country which offers many different things. Spain has lavish countryside, a rich culture, superb cities, towns and villages, great resorts and bars and not to mention – those wonderful hot sandy beaches we love to laze around on.
Spain is becoming somewhat of a home from home for the British, and it is still growing in popularity every year. Spain once suffered from the tag of being a place where you simply went to if you wished to lie on a beach for a few weeks, which whilst being the dream holiday for some, this for others didn’t make Spain sound so appealing. However, as Spain has developed and is now more holidaymaker friendly than it has ever being, more of Spain has opened up to be enjoyed than simply its great beaches.
One excellent way to really get the most out of visiting Spain is to find a place which is within driving distance of other places you’d like to visit, and hire a care. Obviously buses and taxi’s are often hassle enough in our own country, and risking buses and taxi’s abroad isn’t the best idea, and car hire in Spain is cheap enough to really allow you to go further a field and get more from you’re holiday. Try and research to find reputable car hire places, and try and avoid dubious car hire deals as you can often end up paying more than you’d expected and end up with a car which isn’t reliable. Another tip is to get a car which is air conditioned, as you will most certainly need it in Spain’s hot climate.
